Mindful Self-Compassion enhances well-being, boosts happiness and reduces anxiety and depression.
You will learn:
- The three components of self-compassion
- Understanding of basic neuroscience of mindfullness
- How to motivate yourserf with encouragement not criticism
- How to accept difficult emotions with more ease
This in-person group program includes meditation practices and sharing within the group. Suitable for beginners or more advance students.

Counselling for Military Survivors of Sexual Misconduct
This program provides members of the Defence community and their supporters with priority access to trauma-informed therapy, with no waitlist. It is funded by the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre of the Department of National Defence.
Resolve Counselling Services Canada offers a safe, confidential space to heal, process trauma, and build resilience. Our specialized counsellors use evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and integrative psychotherapy—to support clients on their path toward recovery and wellness.
Therapy is available to:
• Members of the Defence community who have experienced sexual misconduct
• Supporters of those affected by sexual misconduct
Following an intake meeting, clients can access:
• Individual counselling (priority access, no waitlist)
• Referrals to additional supports and community resources as needed
